Craft is not a feature at PDS. It is the foundation.

PDS is a fashion label founded by designer Sneha Saraff, where India’s textile heritage meets the rigour of contemporary design. Each piece is considered, unhurried, and deeply intentional. Not trends. Not volume. Just craft, told through fabric.

The Designer

Sneha Saraff’s design education began at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata, one of India’s most respected design institutions. She went on to spend four formative years under the creative direction of Anamika Khanna, one of the country’s most celebrated couturiers, before a stint with US Polo in Bangalore broadened her understanding of scale and structure.

What emerged from these years was a design language entirely her own, one that holds tradition and modernity in equal regard and refuses to choose between them.

The Inspiration

At the heart of PDS is a deeply personal inheritance. Sneha’s grandmother, an artist, a storyteller, a keeper of memory, is the quiet force behind the brand’s soul. Her stories, drawn from the silk-rich landscapes of Assam, the sun-baked grandeur of Rajasthan, and the layered, living culture of Kolkata, are woven into every collection.

PDS does not simply make clothes. It makes objects of memory, garments that carry the weight of where they come from and the lightness of what they might become.
